Elvern Rathke Honored
ELVERN RATHKE (50 YEARS)

We’re here this morning to honor Elvern for 50 years not only as
a successful Business Man, but also for the many contributions
that he has made to the Community.
I feel like this is a good day for our High School Students to be
introduced to the Chamber. It’s people like Elvern that set an
example for the youth of our Community and show them “WHAT
A DIFFERENCE ONE PERSON CAN MAKE”.
Some of Elvern’s contributions I’m aware of are:
• Serving on the City Council for 20 years (1972-1992).
• Spending countless hours in the park to showcase our Ball
Complex not only to the Wisner Community but to visiting towns
as well.
• Along with that spent many hours umpiring.
• He has also been active in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
holding various offices, and serving on numerous boards.
• Proud supporter of the Gators and Huskers.
• Elvern makes time to support his family and their activities.
On behalf of the Chamber we would like to present this
Certificate and $50.00 in Wisner Bucks.
